Nigerians are becoming health – conscious, yet sudden deaths from cardiac arrest, cancers, diabetes, are now common place. Below are some tips on staying healthy.
Readers should note that being fit is not necessarily a clean bill of health. You could be fit for a task and not be healthy overall. That’s why footballers slump and die on the field of play.
If you are over 30, check your blood pressure regularly.
Do regular exercises as a matter of routine to keep your body in good shape.
See your doctor at regular intervals for routine health checks.
Check your blood sugar and cholesterol levels regularly.
If you are a woman, you’d need to check your breasts for growth, and your cervics for disturbing cancer signals.
Dental and eye health are very important. You need to check your teeth and clean them up every six months. The eyes tend to go weak like the teeth, as we age, so you need regular checks as well.
Eat good food and fruits to stay healthy.
