Ritual killings are gradually becoming as potent a problem as terrorism and banditry. But unlike the former twin problem, which is more pronounced in the north, Ritual killings are more rampant in the south.
What’s more worrisome is the involvement of school children as young as 13 and 15 years. Someone remarked recently that a snake crawling in the neigbourhood is guaranteed more safety than a vulnerable human being targeted by ritualists. That may be true to some extent.
How can we protect Nigerians from these torrents of security challenges? For, it’s quite obvious that our governments (APC and PDP) cannot work out an effective formula to secure Nigerians.
