Flutist,Tee Mac,75, has remained fit and healthy over the years, despite his age.
In a rare chat with Ladi Ayodeji, the famous musician revealed the secrets of his fitness to BEATS readers,in his own words:
I start my day with a cup of hot lemon, ginger mixture tea. My breakfast is a delicious (‘pubex pap’) mixed grains paste with ginger.
For lunch, it’s fruits, in the evening, my wonderful cook prepares either a total vegetable meal or occasionally, with fish or a piece of chicken breast in a stew.
I have not eaten meat since 1971 when I was 23!
I walk every morning with my dogs from 7-8am. If I am at home, I join my dog handler at midday and walk again around 10 pm.
I have a bicycle in my bedroom and I check my weight in my compound.
Sometimes, I take a glass of wine.I listen to good music; a lot of which are classical and jazz, and that gives me a positive frame of mind.
