As the Super Eagles goes to war against Algeria in a two-game friendly matches this weekend in Oran, Algeria, Scotland based Nigerian defender, Ayo Obileye, who plies his trade with premiership side Livingston FC has thrown his weight behind the Super Eagles to perform well in the games.
Speaking from his based in Scotland, Obileye, who is gradually carving a niche for himself as a top class central defender in the Scottish top league, believes the Nigerian team can redeem itself and return into the favour books of soccer loving Nigerians.
The free-scoring defender, who is equally adept at the full back and defensive midfield positions, is highly rated by top managers and pundits in English football.
Obileye, 28, who has started and completed all matches with his team this new season, is touted as a player that can bring class and steel to the Super Eagles.
