Music star Olawale Oloforo, popularly known as Brymo has come under severe attacks and condemnation by fellow artistes, celebrities and fans over his recent anti-Igbo statement on his verified Twitter account @Olawale Olofooro.
In the statement laced with heavy political undertones, Brymo had stated thus, “Fuck The Ndi Igbo! To Hell With It”.
Expectedly, it has not gone down well with music fans and other Nigerians, who have come out to describe the statement as hate speech against the Igbos.
Paul Okoye of the PSquare reacted to Brymo’s statement on his own Twitter account @rudeboypsquare, “Mind what you’re preaching. Elections will come and go, we will all move on. But you decided to be a tribal bigot because you think you’re getting some attention by insulting a particular region of Nigeria and some people are praising you. As an artiste, I’m only disappointed.”
