The ever-growing and exciting South-East Basketball Championship, SEBA, is set to begin in the Coal City of Enugu.
According to Ugo Udezue Chairman of SEBA, the championship tagged ‘Oriental Classics’, is one of the first of the five series that will hold this year on a rotational bases from state to state.
In a statement by the SEBA Chairman, as obtained by Wakawaka Sports Extra reads: “We are pleased to inform you that all is now set for this year’s South East basketball championship tagged “ORIENTAL CLASSICS” holding at the indoor sports hall of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium,
Enugu.
“The Enugu event is one of the first of five series that will hold this year on a rotational bases from state to state. It is expected that all five states in the South East prepare to host their leg of the event with Anambra as the next stop.
“The event is currently sponsored and financed solely by the Chairman, board members and stakeholders as a contribution to the growth of the game in the South East.
“The first leg which comes up in Enugu will hold from the 17th – 21st June 2023. You are all invited as your presence will be greatly appreciated.”
