Leading Nollywood stars including Jide Kosoko, Fred Amata, Yemi Solade and Mahmood Alli-Balogun were spotted at a non-violent protest at the Radisson Blu Hotel situated on Isaac John Street, Ikeja, GRA.

Other movie stars spotted at the protest instigated by the Audio-visual Rights Society (AVRS) are Yinka Akanbi, Grace Amah, Ejike Asiegbu and Sunny McDon as well as movie producers and directors.

AVRS boss, Alli-Balogun, said the hospitality outfit has refused to pay for use of their intelligent properties in their different branches.

He further said negotiations with the management of the hospitality outfit has met brick walls, leading to the protest.

Alli-Balogun also alleged the hospitality outfit is owing the copyright collective society to the tune of N50 million.
