The Ghana Football Association is looking for a new coach for the Black Stars after sacking Serbian Milovan Rajevac.
Rajevac was officially sacked on Wednesday following Ghana’s disastrous outing at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The West Africans failed to record a win in three games and were dumped out of the competition at the group stage.
The Black Stars lost to Morocco and debutants Comoros and were forced to a 1-1 draw by Gabon.
According to reports emanating from Ghana, George Boateng, who is a youth coach at Premier League club Aston Villa and former Black Stars assistant coach Ibrahim Tanko are interested in the job.
A new coach is expected to be appointed soon to start preparations for the crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in March.
Ghana and perenial rivals Nigeria will come face-to-face over two legs between March 23 and 29 for a place at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
