Champions League holders, Chelsea have been advised to make a move for Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba.
This is according to former Tottenham Hotspur striker, Darren Bent, who believes Pogba is a better player when he plays alongside Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante in the midfield for France’s national team.
Pogba has since been linked with a move from Manchester United.
The 28-year-old’s current contract with Man United Will expire at the end of the season.
The France World Cup winner is yet to sign a new deal with Man United and has not featured for the club since Ralf Rangnick took over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last year.
Pogba has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus.
But Bent believes Thomas Tuchel’s side should also join the race for Pogba’s signature.
“When Paul Pogba plays alongside Kante, he looks a completely different player!
“If they were to go and sign him, Chelsea, wow, that midfield three. But again, he doesn’t really score enough goals,” Bent told talkSPORT.
When asked if Pogba would get more time on the ball if he played in midfield for Chelsea alongside N’Golo Kante, Bent responded: “Yeah, he would.”
