The semi-final fixtures for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) have been confirmed.
This follows the completion of Sunday’s AFCON quarter-final fixtures.
Egypt sent Morocco packing after winning 2-1 after 120 minutes. The match ended in a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.
Mohamed Salah and Trezeguet scored the two goals for Egypt, while Sofiane Boufal scored Morocco’s only goal of the encounter through a penalty in the first half.
Also, Senegal sent Equatorial Guinea packing from the competition after winning 3-1.
Meanwhile, Cameroon had eliminated Gambia on Saturday, while Burkina Faso defeated Tunisia.
Egypt will now take on Cameroon in the AFCON semi-final fixture on Thursday night, while Burkina Faso will face Senegal on Wednesday night.
