TINUBU’S MEDIA POWER

Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu is getting more attention than his rivals who are jostling for Aso Rock come 2023. Good or bad, he is always in the news; but most times for the wrong reasons.

He made a snap trip to London after a hectic campaign tour; his enemies made an issue out of it. It was claimed that he went for emergency medical attention. No matter how you look at it, Tinubu benefits from this media attention.

FACEBOOK LOSS

Chinese social media giant, TikTok is rising at the expense of Facebook. The latter is losing

Fans at an alarming rate to the TikTok, and that should worry Mark Zukerberg. But he is still the market leader in the virtual space, so this loss of fans might just be the normal switch of loyalties big platforms experience once in a while.

CHINESE LOANS DRY UP

China is no longer the Father Christmas of distressed developing nations which benefit from its liberal loan facilities. transport minister, Rotimi Amaechi has revealed that the Chinese have stopped giving us loans. So, the federal government is now looking at Europe, our traditional lenders. Talk about going back West! The minister didn’t tell us why the Asians have suddenly stopped playing Father Christmas.

SENEGAL’S NEW FANS

Winners are never short of fans. But even before they played the final with Egypt, Senegal suddenly won the sympathy of many soccer fans in Africa who wanted the West African nation to win

Twice finalists, and twice losers, they confronted Egypt, a record seven times winners. So, somehow, people wanted the long-suffering Senegalese to win this time. I think that’s quite normal!

HOUSEHOLD @ 35

Our church, the Household of God clocked 35 on February 1, 2022. Congratulations to the founder/Pastor, Rev Chris Okotie. His marvelous ministry has impacted theBody of Christ in special ways, and the man of God is still going strong. Okotie’s support for BEATS relaunch is another story altogether. We shall talk about that at the appropriate time. Congratulations, Rev.Okotie. Household, solid!
