TIMMSS is one of the grandchildren of Legendary juju musician, Ebenezer Obey, In this exclusive interview with Beatsinfotainment.com he spoke to Ladi Ayodeji about his Life, Career, and Family.
Question: What type of music are you doing?
Answer: I’m into Afro-pop music, under the Afrobeats genre Afro-pop music is a subset of Afro beats.
Question: Tell us first, how you got into music?
Answer: I started music in 2017, I followed a friend to the studio and then vibed with them for a while, I’ve actually always loved music from time because of my background, but I was into photography, then my friend gave me the chance to sing for fun which I did, then the journey pretty much started from there.
Question: Grandpa Baba Obey should be an inspiration, right? Which other musicians do you admire?
Answer: Grandpa is my biggest inspiration yes, Davido also inspires me I love his work ethic as an artiste and simi too inspires me, I love the fact that she can do all major things in music.
Question: Do you have a band and what circuit do you guys play?
Answer: Yes I have a band, still coming up we basically play everything Afro-pop and more. And switch a lot to anything we want to create amazing magic.
Question: Tell our readers about your musical journey so far and where you are headed?
Answer: My musical journey has been amazing, been graced to be recognized among the youths, couple of awards, performances at really prestigious places and even collecting the headies Award on behalf of my grandpa and a whole lot more.

Question: Which of your grandpa’s albums is your favorite?
Answer: Je ka jo album is my favourite. The one recorded in London.
Question: You have an Obey musical family, like the Fela boys. What’s your grandpa’s role in the career of your uncle, Tolu Obey, Niran Obey, and you?
Answer: Grandpa inspires us in many ways.
Question: What instruments do you play?
Answer: I used to play the drums very well in church.
Question: What do you expect from Grandpa as he clocks 80 on April 3rd, 2022? What do you have for him, especially?
Answer: I wish him the best and longer life and I hope to wow him with an amazing blowing performance.
Question: What is your message to your fans?
Answer: I want all my fans to keep believing in me, don’t doubt me, I’m coming for the industry.
