This award-winning Evergreen song by Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey is a tapestry of the socio-cultural revolution of the early 1970’s.
It was a special dedication to men who determined the thought, fashion, style, music and politics in the 70s and ’70s. They took over the Lagos scene immediately the baton was handed over from Herbert Macaulay and then Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe. About 45 of them mostly young lawyers relaxed with drinks and brainstormed at a small ‘watering hole” in Yaba, Lagos they were called THE BOARD MEMBERS.
Few of the Boards Members were Chief Alex Duduyemi, Otunba H.O Afolabi Alu, a Trustee, Chief Babatunde Shitta, Chief Babs Akerele, Chief Razaq Okoya, Chief Molade Okoya Thomas, Chief G.K Animashaun, Chief Sanyaolu, Chief J.I Akinyele, Chief Yemo Adeyera, Chief Sikiru Shitta Bey, Chief Odu Layinde, Prince Ademola Ademiluyi, Chief Adeyele, Yinka Rhodes, etc
