Transfer: Dybala leads two other top stars out of Juventus

Paulo Dybala leads the list of high-profile names leaving Juventus this summer.

The Argentine international has been the subject of transfer speculation with the likes of Tottenham, Manchester United and Inter Milan all keen on a move for the player who is out of contract.

Dybala made 293 appearances for Juve, scoring 115 goals and providing 45 assists, leading to a glowing tribute on the club’s website.

Dybala isn’t the only notable name leaving the Italian giants this summer, with Alvaro Morata and Feder.

EPL: Saunders predicts club to win Premier League title next season

Liverpool legend, Dean Saunders has tipped Tottenham to win the Premier League next season ahead of Manchester City.

This is following Spurs’ summer business in the transfer market so far.

Antonio Conte’s side has just signed Richarlison from Everton in a deal in the range of an initial £50 million, with a potential further £10m in add-ons.

They have already acquired Yves Bissouma from Brighton for an initial £25m, while Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster have signed on free transfers.

Commonwealth Games: Table tennis team to camp in Lagos

The Games were held from July 28 to August 8.

It was gathered that the team will comprise eight athletes. It was also learned that the player’s current rankings and form would be used as criteria for player selection for the games.

Ighalo: My 17-year wait for first league title

Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo is thrilled to have won the first-ever league title of his career after 17 years.

Ighalo, who has played league football in seven different leagues (Nigeria, Norway, Italy, Spain, England, China, and Saudi Arabia) across Europe and Asia without winning a league title, broke the jinx by helping Al Hilal clinch their 18th Saudi topflight title, scoring twice as they beat Al Faisaly 2-1 on Monday.

The brace also earned him the top scorer’s award in his first season at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium.
Ighalo scored 24 goals to finish as the league’s highest goalscorer – beating Brazilian duo Romarinho and Talisca to joint-second place (20 goals each).

It was the first time also in his career that he emerged topscorer in the league he played in.

Boxing: Usman’s manager eyes McGregor clash

Kamaru Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz is of the opinion that UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman would be too much of a challenge now for Conor McGregor who is working on a return to the fight scene.

Abdelaziz thinks the UFC should give McGregor an “easy money” comeback fight to rehabilitate his image.

The Dominance MMA CEO didn’t mince words when he said the Irishman needed to build legitimacy so he could be worthy to face his client.

The Egyptian-born businessman took to Twitter to chime in with his thoughts on McGregor.
