The Manager of Lagos State Motor Parks, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya has disassociated and exonerated members of his organisation from the sales of the Parks&Garages stickers, being sold across motor parks and garages in the state.
In a video posted on social media, Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, describes the stickers with the Tinubu/Sanwo-Olu insignias which is sold for one thousand naira, as fake and criminal.
He said: “I don’t know anything about the sales of this so-called stickers. Those selling it are deceiving members of the public. They want the public to think we’re selling it to raise money for Asiwaju Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu elections campaigns.”
“This is a failed attempts by enemies of Lagos State and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. It won’t work. We have enough money to readily fund whatever campaigns we want to do. These people can’t succeed with this attempts to rubbish us and our political leaders,” he said.
The softly spoken but fearsome transport union leader, went ahead to advise his teeming members to beat up anyone caught selling the fake stickers and hand them over to the Nigerian police.
