Nigeria’s Federal Capital Abuja is expected to be a beehive of activities as guests and visitors from different parts of the country, and abroad would converge on the city, Tuesday, to witness and celebrate with the recipients of national honours in various categories.
The awardees drawn from different walks of life include iconic Fuji music star King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM 1 and K1 The Ultimate, who has been penned down to receive the national award of Member Of The Order Of The Niger (MON), by the Federal Government.
In the award notification letter signed by the Honourable Minister for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Hon. George Akume, the famous fuji music star is expected to arrive Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja on Monday, October 10, 2022, ahead of the event which is scheduled to hold at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
This national award to Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, the Mayegun of Yorubaland, is coming 16 years after late Fuji superstar, Sikiru Ayinde Barrister received the MFR award.
