Mixed reactions have continued to trail the unfortunate death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, the 3 year old son of music star, Davido.
Ifeanyi Adeleke, the love child of Chioma Adeleke and David Adeleke, reportedly drown in the swimming pool of Davido’s Banana Island mansion. And expectedly, the incident has continued to draw flaks hinged on the supposedly negligence on the parts of the care-givers and other domestic staff in the house.
One of those who reacted to the sad occurrence was Alfa Kamal Adewunmi, a Muslim Cleric based Ikorodu Lagos. In a chat with Beats Magazine, the cleric, stated that there’s more to the incident than the ordinary.
“It is very painful and unfortunate that the young boy died the way he did. Like millions of people around the world, I want to express my sympathy to the parents of the dead child. And I pray that God give them the strength to bear this loss,” Alfa Adewunmi remarked.
He went on to admonish musicians and other entertainers to get closer to God. According to him, vanity and vague lifestyles have somewhat beclouded the sensibilities of the artistes.
He recalled a similar incident that happened three years ago, when the son of popular musician, D’banj, also reportedly drown in a swimming pool.
“A lot of mysterious stuff are happening in this world. The world is too complex and highly spiritual. It’s confounding, like a biscuit that can break into any part.
“Stardom should not make our stars forget about their spiritualism. So many evils and dangers can, and have, been averted by prayers to the Almighty God. Let them get closer to God. Whether you are Christian or Muslim pray, pray and pray always to God for His mercies and protections, at all times,” he added.
