The President/ Founder of Masterseed Solidarity Movement, the political arm of Masterseed College of Bishops and Ministers Network Inc. Archbishop (Prof.) Emma David Okafoagu JP2 has declared that there will be serious repercussions for the country if the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi is rigged out of the 2023 election. He made this clear yesterday during an exclusive interview in his office located within the premises of his New Covenant of God Mission Akabuokwu, Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State of Nigeria. In his words: “God spoke to me clearly that the emergence of Mr. Peter Obi is quite spiritual. That the souls of innocent people murdered in the South East and the North, souls of pregnant women, young men and women have entered into the Nigerian youths and that is what people now call: “OBIDIENTS” And that these people will carry their desires to the polling booths and do everything to make sure that Peter Obi wins the election in a free and fair manner. Therefore, thwarting that election will bring about the spilling of the highest number of bloodshed ever recorded in Nigeria and in the world. I am advising Nigerians that if they want to conduct election, they should do so, but if they don’t want to conduct election, they should forget about it and look for a way to mount third term pressure on Buhari. When Buhari wanted to come in, I went to all the Television Stations and Newspaper Houses saying that this”Change” can never bring something good. But everybody then was shouting” Change Change”. So instead of wasting time and resources to conduct an election where they will not post the right result, the National Assembly can make a way for Buhari to strike out a third or fourth term” On the issue of Peter Obi not having Political Structures, he replied:. ” Talking about Peter Obi having no Political structures is a mere political propaganda, because Peter Obi is a strong member of APGA and a Governor under APGA for 8 years. Peter Obi is a strong member of PDP and rose to be the running mate to the Presidential Candidate,Atiku Abubakar. When you come to Nigerian politics you don’t need to talk about Party, because APC,PDP,APGA are all one Party. They are all the same faces and the same group of people. Saying that he has no structure is a fallacy of the highest order.” On Prof.Charles Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, playing down the chances of Peter Obi, replied:” I have been saying that anybody trying to bring down his brother in the South East in order to gain favour from the North will never become the President of Nigeria. Our big Professor may be trying to play to the gallery of the North without understanding the Political History of the country; that these people have used the South East, used the people from the South West, and after using them, disgraced, humiliated and dumped them. And I wonder why people like him can’t learn from these lessons”. On the issue of Nnamdi Kanu, he answered:” I think somebody wrote in the Internet about 2years ago that Nnamdi Kanu must be in detention until Buhari leaves Government. That thing normally comes to my mind. The person that wrote that must be an insider in the Nigerian Government. But if this Government is ready to listen to a good advice, I think the second good thing Buhari should do in addition to the 2nd Niger Bridge is to release Nnamdi Kanu”. On whether the release of Nnamdi Kanu will not negatively affect the peaceful conduct of the 2023 election? he replied:. “If he is released now, two things are facing us. If he is released now, will there be election or will there be no election? Nnamdi Kanu is not only interested in the governance of Nigeria, but also interested in the safety and freedom of his people. I’m not his Spokesman, but I know spiritually that it can be negotiated and a political solution crafted out.” About the 2nd Niger Bridge, he offered:” I give 100% Credit to the Buhari Administration. This is something all past Presidents have been promising to do, but could not do it and he did it. This is a very big Credit to Buhari. And may he extend the same magnanimity to Nigerians by releasing Nnamdi Kanu. Thank you.”
