The President/ Founder of God’s Weapon Deliverance Church Of God Inc. Prophetess Dr. Mummy Oluchi Ojukwu a.k.a. Eke Ogba Jesus* has sensationally revealed how as a little girl of 5 years, she singlehandedly killed a python with her bare hands and nothing happened to her. Something that was a taboo in her home town in Imo State of Nigeria.
As a matter of fact, if one mistakenly killed a python, it was required that the python should be given a befitting burial akin to that of a human being. Going down memory lane in an exclusive interview with Don Peter Okoro on how she received her Call to Ministry, Prophetess Mummy Oluchi who has gained wide acceptance in the entire South East, Lagos and Abuja said:
“Right from my childhood, I have been through a lot because of this Call. I started my Call at the age of 4 years. I’m the young girl that killed a python at the age of 5 years with her bare hands. They don’t kill python in our village, but this python came running around and I pursued it and killed it and kept it somewhere.
The main python later came and was starring at me. According to our Tradition, if you mistakenly killed a python, you have to bury it like a human being. If not, the main python would come and swallow up the person. So when the main python came, it raised it’s head against me and hissed. I too raised my head against it and hissed.I was calling my Dad to come and see what I have killed. That was how people started calling me *Eke Ogba* as a small child at Idemili, Umuokobia, Orsu, Imo State.”. Continuing, she said:”When my gift of Ministry started manifesting, it was manifesting so rapidly that my parents were not happy. They wanted me to face my studies, finish school and make something useful out of life. In those early days of my call, I could just mix sand, salt and water for a barren woman to drink and tell her she would get pregnant and the following month, she would miss her period and get pregnant. It got to a stage that people would line up in our house looking for me. My mother was like, how can this my only daughter be a woman of God? Never! I now told her that I would like to be a Reverend Sister. That one got her even more furious. She said never and never! As a little girl,I would go to the Statue of Mother Mary and be singing and praying until I’ll sleep off and nobody would even bother to look for me. I really suffered as a result of this Call especially while in school. That was when they told me, ” your Bible or your School” I told them, “my Bible first”. So,I carried my Bible and stayed with it. . My Daddy was a Medical Doctor, he has an Hospital. My Dad is Dr. Kelvin.”. On how she developed the passion to help the poor and the less privileged, a virtue that has earned her a lot of accolades, Dr. Mummy Oluchi who was recently honoured as a United Nations Ambassador for Peace, answered:”In those days, I used to stay a lot with the beggers and I spent a great deal of time with them. I would tell them not to worry, that when I eventually made money none of them would suffer again. Those words I was saying as a little girl now got into me so much that I couldn’t take them off. When God now blessed me so much and I grew up to be a Doctor,God told me that I should go to Amaigbo to take a course in Theology. I had to go there to take a course in Theology and Technology, specializing in Community Health. From there,I started my work and to God be the glory, here we are pressing forward.” Asked what she would preach if given an opportunity to address an audience on the spur of the moment, she quickly replied: ” Whenever you wake me up, even if I was sleeping deeply, the Message that would come up is the Message of Strength. At every junction in your life, be strong. The morale you give yourself is greater than the one anyone can give you; because that person giving you morale might be setting you up. But when you say to yourself: “I know I don’t have much today, but I know that by this time tomorrow, God can do it. Don’t say God will do it just say God can do it.” That kind of statement can move God, it can move any Spirit to say: “if this person can have this kind of faith, let us go and do it for him or her. At every junction of your life, be strong. A Doctor may say you will die,say to him: “Sir I will not die!” That Doctor will go inside and crack his brain, because your faith has triggered something in him. The thing there is, Faith and Strength. Faith without strength, has no value. Speaking in tongues, without strength, is useless. You need strength to carry on at every junction and to tell yourself that you can make it. One thing you need is strength and God will send you a Helper at every point of your journey in life.” Prophetess Dr. Oluchi Ojukwu who has her Church in Anambra,Imo, Lagos and Abuja also has an Hospital, and a Nursery, Primary and Secondary School where the Boarding Facility will take off this coming month of January. Her Book and Music Album Titled *The Virtuous Woman* and **Agony of A*Widow* respectively, was launched in Nnewi on Wednesday, the 21st of December 2022.
