Former Senior Special Assistant on Sports to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Prince Anthony Adeyinka Adeboye, has heaped praises on the present government of the state for providing top quality sports facilities across the state ,as well as, making the environment conducive for sports to thrive and grow.

Speaking with journalists in his Surulere office, the President and Chief Executive Officer of fastly growing Lagos based NNL side, Smart City, explained that sports investors and athletes have somewhat adopted Lagos state as their sporting home.

“We must thank Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for turning Lagos State to its present enviable status as the sporting hub of the country,” the politician and sports administrator stated.

“Today, top quality sports facilities dots virtually every part of the state. And it has become reflective in the waves of sports activities happening in the state. That’s why the state has become the sports centre of excellence.

Adeboye fondly called Zulu by his admirers, went on to admonished that the sports sector and its positions should be managed by core professionals and particularly, by experienced investors in the sports business industry.
