In one of the several appointments going on in the management of football in Nigeria, the Chairman of Nigeria Premier Football League, Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye has announced the appointment of renowned football administrator, Prince Dapo Ajibade as his Special Adviser On Special Duties.
The letter of appointment stated that the former Executive Chairman of Ondo State Football Agencies, who is presently the Director-General of Nigeria’s leading football academy, KIFA, is on a two-year renewable contract.
The letter read, “This appointment is for a renewable term of two years, and is based on your wealth of experience, track record of performance, and overall contributions to the development of domestic football in Nigeria.”
Encomiums have started to pour in for Ajibade on his new assignment, even as they are also commending Hon. Elegbeleye for truly appointing a core football technocrat into that very crucial position.
